The Pestmaster team recently gathered in sunny Orlando, FL for another high-impact franchisee workshop—and it did not disappoint!
Held at the UF/IFAS Mid-Florida Research & Education Center, the two-day event brought together franchisees, industry experts, and the Pestmaster team for an engaging agenda packed with learning, collaboration, and connection. From operations to marketing, technical training to government contracts, every session was designed to help franchisees strengthen their businesses and drive long-term growth.

Company & Marketing Updates
Pestmaster Brand Leader, Brett Shraiar kicked off the workshop with a brand update and open discussion on what's working—and where there's room to improve. Attendees also received the latest marketing insights, including updates to website resources.
Sales & Government Contracts
Franchisees participated in interactive sessions focused on driving leads and converting them into sales. Pestmaster's Director of Corporate Systems & Franchisee Support, Bryan Shamhart and Contracts Manager, Brian Wilk, led a valuable deep dive into contracts and bidding, offering real-world math and strategies for pursuing profitable government work.

Keynote Presentation: Dr. Jamie Ellis on Pollinators
A standout moment was the educational and timely presentation by Dr. Jamie Ellis, Gahan Endowed Professor of Entomology at the University of Florida. Dr. Ellis emphasized the importance of honeybees in global pollination, sharing best practices on label compliance to avoid unintended harm to beneficial insects. His message reinforced Pestmaster's commitment to environmentally responsible pest management.
Tactic Talk with Dr. Bugs
Mariah Baggio-Deibler, Pestmaster's Technical Director, led a specialized session on stinging insect protocols, further equipping franchisees with tools and tactics to serve customers effectively.
